"Hi, I’m Erna McCallister, founder of ERNA – Erna’s Nannies and Household Staff Inc.
Originally from Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, I’ve always believed in the power of family, strong values, and meaningful care. I earned my degree in Social Work in 2008, and after years of working with children in my community, I came to the U.S. as an Au Pair in 2011. I was lucky to care for two amazing girls in Scarsdale, NY, and that experience confirmed what I already knew — working with children is my calling.
Over the past 13 years, I’ve built a career based on trust, reliability, and genuine love for what I do. I founded ERNA to help families find the right caregiver without the stress — whether it’s for full-time, part-time, or last-minute needs. All of our nannies are CPR and COVID-certified, and trained to meet the high standards I’ve lived by throughout my career.
We proudly serve families in New York and through our growing network in Philadelphia. Helping parents find peace of mind through exceptional childcare isn’t just my job — it’s my passion."
